Yesterday (19th August) the Shirley Glasstone Hughes Trust Fund hosted a research day: "How to win funding for primary care based research projects". The day was attended by dental practitioners, DCPs, dental academics and those working within oral health promotion and the wider dental community. Attendees learnt how the Trust Fund will soon be offering substantial monies to fund practice based research, and how they can have their own say in setting the research agenda.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and I would especially like to thank Professor David Moles for his excellent session on using evidence to improve practice.
Thanks to everyone who attended. I hope you all agree it was a great day and all that remains for me to say is:
Tell all your friends and colleagues to get voting!
