We have the results of this month's critical appraisal.

The original question was submitted by Anh Lam:

"How can dietary advice to prevent dental erosion be effectively delivered in UK general dental practice?"

Happy reading and don't forget to vote before the 4th January to decide which question goes forward for the next review of the evidence.

For those of you who are interested, we have some additional information relating to this topic.

Within the Cochrane Oral Health Group website (www.ohg.cochrane.org/reviews.html) the following published review protocol may be found:

Ashcroft, A, Harris, R, Dailey, Y.  One-to-one dietary interventions undertaken in a dental setting for a change in dietary behaviour and the prevention of dental caries and erosion.  Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews 2007, Issue 2. Art. No.: CD006540. DOI: 10.1002/14651858.CD006540.

The authors have indicated that the full review will be reported upon during 2010.

We will provide a link to this when the review is completed.
