*Call for Funding Applications*

On the 24th April, the Shirley Glasstone Hughes Trust Fund announced that a £200,000 research budget has been made available to fund research into primary dental care.

The Trust Fund invites applications from research teams that include practitioners currently working in a primary care setting to conduct research in answer to the following question:

Do people living in deprived areas define oral health differently from people who live in less deprived areas, and what influences their oral health related behaviours?

As you know, the topic for research was selected by dentists and dental care practitioners who were offered an opportunity to vote for their preferred area of research. Voting on the website is ongoing to select questions for consideration for the next call for funding applications, so keep posting your questions.

If you are interested in applying for research funding from the Shirley Glasstone Hughes Trust Fund please look at the new Grants section of the website which has all the relevant information and forms you will need. Should you need any assistance or have any enquiries please fill out the Contact Us form and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
